Beat the Winter Blues with some Card Making!

My next card Class will be Friday February 27 at 7:00pm. It will be devoted to making Birthday cards! If you are like me, you know many people born in March or April, so this class is just in time to stack on some much needed Birthday cards! We’ll be making 6 birthday cards and the cost is $20 cash or free with a $25 order. Please bring your own Snail adhesive. Register by email at Julie_olivier@hotmail.com before February 25.

Here’s a sneak peek of one card that we’ll be making:

You will be able to try the fabulous “Irrisistibly Yours” Specialty Designer Paper (one of the Sale-a-bration item; get it free with a $60 purchase!) The glossy white pattern on that paper “magically” appears when you sponge it with ink! This card also uses the Sale-a-bration set “Big Day” (get it FREE!) a perfect Birthday stamp set! I colored the letters with the Blendabilities markers. You can get those markers (set of 3 markers) as a FREE Sale-a-bration item too!

“Big Day” Chalkboard Card

Which Sale-a-bration set is your favorite? (Don’t know? Check them out right here!)  This Birthday set called “Big Day” is on top of my list!  I used it to make this Birthday flip card!  I also used the new Chalkboard paper and the new ColorBox Chalk ink pads! The Chalkboard paper has a smooth grain that pairs perfectly with the Chalk ink pads! I love that contrast! I also used another Birthday stamp set called “Celebrate Today” (from the new Occasions catalogue p.11) This set has matching framelits dies to cut the balloon, banner, bow etc… Buy this set and Framelits as a bundle and save 15% on both!

 

The Circle Card Thinlits was used to cut the card and turn it into a Flip Card.

Stamping Club Classes Schedule (Learn cool Techniques and make 3D items)

The next Stamping club night is coming up really soon! Come try it next Monday, January 12 at 7:00 pm. We will learn 2 cool techniques: the Chalkboard technique and the Stained Glass butterfly.
