I’ve decided to participate in the “Old Christmas” Theme Challenge Around the World. If you like my card, you can vote (“like”) for it right here.
Just a little update on this challenge: I was chosen in the top 3!!!
I was going for a very vintage look and I’m pretty happy with the results! Here’s my card:
I used the ornament from “Ornament Keepsakes” stamp set (still available if you want it) stamped in Pool Party ink and sponged with Crumb Cake on the edges. The ornament was cut with the matching Holiday Ornament Framelits Die (on sale until December 2nd for $23.21 Reg. $30.95) If you want to order it before it’s too late, click here now!
Then I used 2 Label Collections Framelits dies. the smaller is stamped with writings from “By the Tides” stamp set and snowflakes from Snowflake Soiree. I used the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack to make a series of little holes around it and I also aged the edges by sponging Crumb cake ink. The second Label is cut from Winter Frost DSP stack and also aged. The background is embossed with Northern Flurry embossing folder, sponged with Crumb Cake ink.
