Children Project: Petal Cone Santa

This is another craft that I designed to make with children. It uses the same die as yesterday’s project: Petal Cone Bigz L die.  I have seen some really sophisticated version of Santa’s made with that die on the internet, but I wanted to make a version as simple as possible so the children could make it easily.

After making the cone, glue the face (1-3/4″ circle) in place. Add the nose (1/2″ circle) and eyes.  For the beard, I used the 1/2 Scallop circle on the Petal Cone die and the bird builder punch for the mustache.

Material:

CS and paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Primrose Petals, Pretty in Pink

Tools: Big Shot, Petal Cone Bigz L die, Bird Builder punch, 1-3/4″ Circle punch, 1/2 in circle punch

Others: googly eyes, cotton ball

Children Project: Angel “Petal Cone”

This is a project I made for my Daycare Providers workshop as one of the Christmas projects.  It’s made with the Petal Cone Bigz L Die.  The wings are also cut with the same die.  I embossed the Whisper White card stock with “Vintage Wallpaper” folder to add some nice details to the dress.  Circle punches were used to make the head.  The hands were made with the Boho Blossom punch.  Really shiny “Glimmer paper” was used to make the aureola.

Material:

CS and paper: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Pretty in Pink, Glimmer paper (Champagne)

Ink: Stampin markers: Basic Black and Cherry Cobbler

Tools: Big Shot and Petal Cone Bigz L Die, Vintage Wallpaper Folder, 1-3/4″ Circle punch, 1-1/4″ Circle punch, Boho Blossom punch
