Butterfly Basics and Bold Butterfly Framelits with a Vintage look

I keep coming back to this beautiful “Butterfly Basics” stamp set! I love it!!! With the Butterfly Basics and Bold Butterfly Framelits, it offers so many possibilities!!! All of the stamps on this card are from the same set “Butterfly Basics”, so you can see that it has many different components that come together beautifully!

I wanted to do a vintage look for this card, so I used Sahara Sand and Soft Sky as my base colors.  I colored my flowers with Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi Stampin’ Marker and the blender pen. The beautiful butterfly was cut with the Bold Butterfly Framelits in Lost Lagoon card stock.

“Traveler Boat” Masculine Card

The stamp set “Traveler” is one of my favorite masculine stamp set. This is another card that I made with it, using the beautiful boat stamp. I used bright colors “Real Red”, “Pacific Point” and “Night of Navy” as my color scheme. I also used 2 stamps from “Butterfly Basics“, the “New York” circle stamp and the broken line at the bottom. This set has so many pieces and is really versatile! There’s also some ink splatters around the boat to imitate some water splashing, from my favorite “Gorgeous Grunge” stamp set.

In the background, I used the Arrows embossing folder to complete my card.

Another Butterfly Basics Card

Today’s card is another card that I made with the Beautiful “Butterfly Basics” stamp set. This is a card I made a while ago, since it was for Mother’s Day! But since you could adapt it for any other occasion, I thought I would share it with you today!

I wanted to make a really sophisticated and vintage look for my card, so I used the beautiful Gold foil sheet to cut off the Butterfly (with the Butterflies Thinlits). I also heat embossed the greeting with gold embossing powder.  In the background, I stamped the images with Baked Brown Sugar. I added some Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz ink with the blender pen to the flower. I also used the ink splatters from the “Gorgeous Grunge” stamp set.

The Venitian Crochet Trim and Gold metallic button were the perfect accessories to complete the card!

Butterfly Basics Birthday card

I would like to share with you the card I made for my aunt’s birthday.  I used one of my favorite stamp set of all time, called Butterfly Basics, with the beautiful Butterflies Thinlits. I like how the softness of the colors contrasts with the Early Espresso Butterfly (I know it looks black on the picture, but it’s actually Early Espresso!)

Sheltering Tree “Spring” card

I’ve been away for a while, busy with life!!! The end of ski season was really busy with my kids in ski competition!

I have a perfect “Spring” card for you today. I made it with the new “Sheltering Tree” stamp set. I love that set because you can change the tree to fit any season! I also used the Butterfly from my favorite set called “Butterfly Basics” that also have matching Thinlits and beautiful detailed Butterflies!

For the background, I used the “Hardwood” background stamp, with White craft ink.
