One more Patterned Occasions card!

Today’s card was inspired by Mary Fish who is a very talented US demonstrator.  I used Patterned Party stamp set, a SAB set that you can earn for free when you spend $60!!!  If you like this card, join me on Feb. 22 for my “Basic and Beautiful Card Class: Birthday cards for everyone”!  I still have room, so email to register to reserve your spot for you and your friends!

I also used the Sale-a-bration designer series paper and ribbon.  I really like the bright colors, it makes me feel happy!

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I’m sure you wish that all of your friends and family are deeply in love, but, let’s face it, life is not always perfect!  So this is a perfect card to send to someone who is having a hard time… I used the stamp from the Sale-a-bration sets called “Patterned Occasions”.  I cut the heart with the Heart Collection Framelits dies. The greetings are form “Petite Pairs” and the embossing is the new Honeycomb folder (From the Occasion mini-catalogue.) I used the new Real Red core’dinations card stock that you can sand to see a lighter color in the inside. It works very well with any embossing folder!

The Perfect Polka Dots embossing makes this background really classic.  What do you think? We could make this card at your next private class! Email me if you want to book yours!

This Sale-a-bration set “Patterned Occasions” is really awesome! I like all of the 5 stamps that comes with it. There’s one stamp for every occasion so it makes this set really useful!!!

Here’s the card I made with the “Congratulations Smarty Pants!” stamp:

Patterned Occasion pants

I used Marina Mist card stock to make the jeans and sponge some Midnight Muse ink over.  I cut the pocket and glue it on top.  I left the top opened, so it would be perfect to insert a gift card or some money!  I used the Summer Startfruit Stampin’ Marker to do the “stitching”.  To make the belt, I cut a strip of Early Espresso strip that I sponged on each side with Espresso ink.  I scored a line each side and I used the paper piercing pack to make little holes along the edges, to imitate the stitching.
