I told you I really fell in love with the Fox Builder punch and Foxy Friends stamp set. Here’s one other card that I did with this amazing bundle! I think this little racoon is so cute!!! What I like about this stamp set is that it includes so many elements: the trees, the tree stump, all the different faces for the animals, and even cute mushrooms!!! I used the dazzling diamonds to add some sparkling touches on the trees and on the snow. (I know it’s not so obvious on the picture.)

I had made this card for the “Christmas in July” theme but I didn’t get around to post it before! So since today’s the last day of July, I thought I’m better to post it today!!!
I used the same background as for my Iris Folding Butterfly (check previous post), which was made with the new Brick Wall embossing folder. I used the beautiful wreath from “Wondrous Wreath” Bundle (it comes with matching Framelits!) For the wreath, I used Wild Wasabi and Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler ink pads. I also added some Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details to add a touch of sparkle!
Stamp set: Wondrous Wreath, Ornamental Pine (Christmas Wishes stamp) retired
CS and Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
Ink: Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, CHerry Cobbler, Wild Wasabi, Mossy Meadow,

The Tree punch that matched the Festival of Trees stamp set is really one of my favorite tools in the Holiday catalogue. You can make really nice Christmas cards in no time at all! For this card, I used the “Top Note” die in the background, embossed with the Lucky Stars embossing folder. I used the “Trim the Tree” Designer series paper stack to make the trees and a little Gold glimmer star really adds a sparkly touch!
Stamp set: Petite Pairs
CS and paper: Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Trim the Tree Designer series paper stack, Gold Glimmer paper
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Tools: Big Shot, Top Note Bigz die, Tree punch, Itty Bitty Accent punch pack (little star), Oval Collection Framelits dies
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler/ White Baker’s Twine, Glue dots
1. Cut half a sheet of Garden Green card stock (5.5″ x 8.5″). Fold in half to form the card base.
2. Cut the “Top Note” die in Crumb cake card stock. Emboss with the Lucky Stars embossing folder.
3. Cut a Cherry Cobbler card stock Oval with the Oval Framelits and Big Shot. Stamp the “Merry Christmas” on the left side. Adhere on the Crumb Cake Top Note.
4. Cut 2 trees with the Tree punch out of Trim the Tree Designer series paper stack. Adhere on the Oval. Cut 2 Gold glimmer stars with the star punch. Adhere on top of the trees with a glue dot. Wrap a Cherry Cobbler/ White Baker’s twine around the base of the Top Note. Adhere the ends at the back. Adhere on the card front.

For this card, I used an “non-traditional” Christmas color: a light purple called “Wisteria Wonder”. Combine with Whisper White and Silver, I really like how it turned out! I used the Confetti Stars punch to create this really cool border! The stamp set that I used for the star is called “Many Merry Stars“. I stamped it in Wisteria Wonder ink on Whisper White card stock. I cut the stars with the Star Framelits Dies collection. The biggest star is made out of the Silver Foil card stock. I finished the card with Frosted sequins.
Stamp set: Many Merry Stars, Good Greetings
CS and paper: Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, Silver Foil
Ink: Wisteria Wonder
Tools: Confetti Stars punch, Big Shot and Stars Framelits Dies Collection
Accessories: Rhinestones, Frosted Sequins

This Fall, I had a lot of fun teaching “How to make a Card in a Box” at the Ottawa Public Library! The “card in a box” can lay flat to fit in an envelop and than becomes a “box” when you open it! It’s an amazing surprise every time!!! I made this Christmas theme “card in a box” as an example to show at my class. I used the Holiday Homes stamp set and matching framelits to cut the houses. I colored the houses with the Blendabilities Markers. The box was decorated with the “All is Calm” Specialty Designer series paper.
Here’s the basic instructions to make a Card in a Box.
Create a card that lay flat when closed but open into a 3D card.
Cut a piece of card stock of 5-1/2” x 9”.
Score vertically at 2-1/8”, 4-1/4”, 6-3/8” and 8-1/2”. Score horizontally at 2-3/4”. Cut along the vertical scored lines up to your horizontal scored line. Cut off the small rectangle at the end. Form your box and glue the flap in place. (see picture)
Cut three 1-7/8” squares of Designer Series paper. Adhere on the “open flaps” on the box. Cut one 1-7/8” x 4” rectangle of Designer series paper. Adhere on the inside back of the box.
Add 2 inserts in the box: 1” wide x 3” long. Score at 1/2” and at 2-5/8”. Fold on scored lines and glue in your box.
Decorate with some embellishments, stamps, etc.
