Foxy Friends Baby Card

I’ve fallen in love with the new Fox Builder punch and Foxy Friends stamp set! The possibilities with this stamp set and punch are infinite!!! Today’s card is a cute baby card. I used the Fox Builder punch to do the bear; simply rounding up the ears to make it look like a bear.

I also used the banner and confetti stamps from “Celebrate Today” stamp set and the little bow that coordinates with it, Balloon Framelits. The greeting is from Better Together stamp set.

Zoo Baby Card

Today, I have a “baby” card I made for my cousin’s baby shower. Since we don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl yet, I tried to do a baby card as neutral as possible. I used the stamp set “Zoo baby” . This set is so cute!!! I love the little monkey and the giraffe!  For the elephant, I stamped it twice, once in Coastal Cabana and once in Bermuda Bay. I then cut the ear of the “Bermuda Bay one” and glued it on top of the other one.

The designer paper is from the “Birthday Basics” series and I took the colors from the paper to make my blocks and color the animal. That way, everything coordinates very easily!

Baby Prints

Hi! I’ve been away camping for a while and enjoying Summer!  Sorry I haven’t been very active on my Blog!!! Today, I would like to propose you some baby cards that I made with a new stamp set I just got: Baby Prints (Bébéessentiels for the French one.)  For the first one, I created my background paper with the Stripes embossing folder.

Here’s how to do it: you will need your brayer and 2 color ink pads.  For my card, I used Daffodil Delight and Bashful Blue.

First, ink your brayer with the first color and brayer directly on the embossing folder (on the inside, the side that is on the top). Run through the BigShot.

Second, clean throughly your brayer and your embossing folder. You can either use a baby wipe or run it directly under the water in your sink. Dry well.  Re-ink your brayer with the second color. Rotate your paper at 90deg (see picture) and run through the Big Shot.

Voilà!

And the final card:

Packed for baby

This new stamp from the Occasions mini-catalogue is so cute!!!  I loved that it’s all on the same stamp and it’s only $11.95 so it won’t brake your budget! Check it on p.39 of the new mini-catalogue (See left side bar) .  There’s 3 other similar stamps: Packed for birthday, Packed for Mom and Packed for Dad!  Check tomorrow’s post for another card made with one of these fun stamps!

For the top part, I used the new Twitterpated Designer Series Paper (found on p.13 in the mini-catalogue.) For the bottom part, I used some left over from the Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper.  Who would have thought that you can use “Christmas paper” on a baby card!  That prouves that every Designer paper series is not made for only one purpose!!!
