A special Card in a box for a 60th anniversary

Happy Canada Day! I have 2 posts for you today!  Here’s the first one…

My aunt celebrated her 60th birthday and I wanted to give her an extra special card, so I made her a “Card in a Box”. I used the new “Pretty Petals DSP stack” which have beautiful designs, for the background!  For the inside of the “box”, I used the Pansy punch and Flower Shop stamp set and the Petite Petal punch and stamp set.  The butterfly is from Papillon Potpourri which also has a coordinated punch.

I also added the number “60” (cut with an older die and Big Shot),and I used Silver Foil sheet for an elegant look!

For instructions on how to make a “card in a box” check this post: https://madewithpaper.wordpress.com/2014/12/04/holiday-homes-card-in-a-box/

Petite Petals, Gorgeous Grunge and Washi Tape: Fast and Easy card!

Today’s card is a quick and easy card that I put together in no time at all! Don’t you like those last minute cards that you can finish in less time than you would take going to the store?

I used the Gorgeous Grunge set (my favorite background set, that I use ALL the time!) and the Petite Petals stamp set with the coordinated punch. These two sets are awesome for beginners (and for long-time stamper too!) as they are so versatile! I also used a strip of Washi Tape from the Project Life Everyday Adventure Accessory pack. The greeting is from “Four You”, a very good greeting set for new stampers too!

“Petite Petals” meets “Fabulous Florets”!

For today’s card, I combined the new stamp set “Petite Petals” (found in the Occasions  Mini-catalogue with an older stamp set called Fabulous Florets. “Petite Petals” also has a matching punch (with the same name!) that makes it so easy to use! You can even save by buying them together: bundle and save!!! Click here to order now!

The background is embossed with the Fancy Fan embossing folder. I found it makes a really feminine card, combine with the beautiful Crochet Trim!
