Saying good-bye to Flower Patch Stamp set

Flower Patch stamp set and matching Flower Fair Framelits is soon to be retired! Get it before it’s too late (May 31, 2017!) I used it to make this really cool card using the Black Magic technique! Black Magic Technique

Material:

  • Basic Black card stock
  • White Craft ink
  • Watercolor Pencil
  • Aqua painter
  • White Gel pen
  • Flower Patch stamp set (retiring)
  • Better Together stamp set

Directions:

1. Cut a 3.75” x 5-1/8” Basic Black card stock.

2. Stamp the flowers with White craft ink. Let dry a few minutes.

3. Color on the white stamped flowers with the Watercolor pencils.

4. Use the Aqua painter to blend the color with the white ink underneath.

5. Use the White gel pen to add some white accent.

Flower Patch and Lovely Lace

I have one more card made with the Lovely Lace embossing folder for you today! This background is so beautiful by itself, it doesn’t need a lot to complete the card! I used the flower from the Flower Patch new Photopolymer stamp set. This set pairs with the Flower Fair Framelits Dies to cut all of the flowers for you! I sponged some green on the leaves with a sponge dauber to accentuate the embossing in the beackground. I completed the card with a Rich Razzleberry ribbon and a large pearl.

Here’s the Flower Patch stamp set. What I like about this set is the multiple possibilities that it offers! You can layer the flower with different colors! So many combinations to try!!! Since the photopolymer is completely transparent, it’s very easy to align!

For my card, I used Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo for the card base and frame. I stamped a few flowers with Crush Curry, Tangelo Twist, Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay. I added small candy dots (Bright Collection) in the center of each flower.

Material:

Stamp set: Flower Patch, Gorgeous Grunge

CS and paper: Whisper White, Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo

Ink: Crush Curry, Tangelo Twist, Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Wild Wasabi, Pool Party

Accessories: Candy Dots Bright Collection

Instructions:

1. Cut half a sheet of Bermuda Bay card stock and fold to make the card base.

2. Cut a 3-7/8″ x 5″ Melon Mambo card stock  and a 3-5/8″ x 4-3/4″ Whisper White card stock rectangles.

3. Stamp your flowers, starting with the stems in Wild Wasabi ink. Stamp the flowers using Crush Curry, Tangelo Twist, Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay ink pads.

4. Add some Pool Party ink splatters using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp. Stamp your greeting “Happy Blooming Birthday” in Bermuda Bay ink.

5. Adhere all the layers in place. Add some Candy Dots in the center of each flowers.
