Faux Silk Technique

This is another card we made last Friday at my Monthly Card Class.  It’s a technique called “Faux Silk”, super easy when you know how it’s done!

How to make this card?

First stamp your flower on Whisper White card stock, using the markers (Melon Mambo and Old Olive) to color your stamp.  Then, cut a piece of white tissue paper (the kind we use to wrap up gifts…) and crumple it.  Gently unfold it.  Take the Anywhere Glue Stick and cover your whole white stamped card stock piece. Adhere your tissue paper and make sure to leave some “crinkle” as you flatten the tissue paper on the stamped card stock. Trim the tissue paper with scissors.

Finish the card with a piece of “Twitterpated Designer Series Paper” and a greeting.
