“The Open Sea” is one of the first stamp set that I bought! It’s been around for quite a while!!! But it’s such a nice and classic set, if you don’t own it, you’ll want it for sure! Over the years, I made many masculine cards with this set. Here’s one that we made at my last class. I like this old parchment look! Simply use Very Vanilla cards stock, tear some bits around the edges and ink with Crumb cake.
I used Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy and Very Vanilla for the colors.
Stamp set: The Open Sea, Voeux Mignons(Teeny Tiny Wishes)
CS and paper: Very Vanilla, Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler
Ink: Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake,
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler and White Baker’s Twine

“Traveler” stamp set is a perfect set for masculine cards! I used the train from this set to make this Father’s Day card. I also used “World Map” background stamp for the side panel. To “aged” the paper, I sponged Crumb Cake ink with a sponge dauber around the edges.
This card was created with the Cicle Card Thinlits which cuts and scores the card for you to create this fun flip card!
Here’s the inside of the card:
Stamp set: World Map, Traveler, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Word Play
CS and paper: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Early Espresso
Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Baked Brown Sugar
Tools: Big Shot, Circle Card Thinlits, 2-1/2″ Circle punch, Large Oval punch, Banner punch, Sponge dauber

I have a great Father’s Day card for you today! It’s simple enough that even children could do it!
Here’s the tip for the shirt. If you fold the upper left corner to create the shirt collar, the pattern on the back of the designer paper is not the same. So here’s how I did it: I cut the lower right corner and glued it at the back of the collar. Then fold to make the collar and add 3 small buttons. (Glue dots work best!) Adhere on your card base.
For the suit, cut a piece 3-5/8″ x 5-1/2″ of Island Indigo card stock. Fold the upper left corner to make the suit collar. Add another little triangle to finish the collar. Add a pocket and some seam lines made with a Island Indigo marker. What’s fun is that you can hide a little message in the pocket!
Stamp set: Just Sayin’, Express Yourself
CS and paper: Island Indigo, Whisper White, Quatrefancy Specialty Designer series paper
Ink: Island Indigo Marker and ink
Accessories: Designer Buttons Subtle collection

I made this card thinking about my Grandfather who probably built dozens of brid houses in his life! Of course, I used the Bird Builder Punch to make the bird! Then, with White Craft ink and the blender pen I added some details. I used the background stamp Woodgrain to make the bird house.
For the background, I sponged with Wild Wasabi and added some leaves from the Fabulous Florets stamp set.
Stamp set: Woodgrain, Voeux Mignons, Fabulous Florets,
CS and paper: Bashful Blue, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Real Red, Marina Mist, Whisper White.
Ink: Wild Wasabi, White Craft ink, Early Espresso, Marina Mist, Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Marker, Basic Black Stampin’ Marker.
Punch: 1 1/4 Circle punch, Bird Builder punch, Word Window.
