“Winter Woods” for the Fall!

This is another card made with the new “Winter Woods” Stamp set, but this time, it’s a nice Fall theme!

To achieve these nice Fall colors, I first inked the trees stamp with Crushed Curry ink, then I used sponge daubers and added more colors directly on the stamp. You want to add just a little of each color to create a nice combination and be able to see a little of each colors. I used Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Cajun Craze and colored the tree trunks with Soft Suede markers directly on the stamp.

For the background, I used Timeless Textures stamp set to add ink splatters and a nice border around the card base. I used the Seasonal Layers Thinlits to cut the little Maple leaf and used the sponge daubers to add ink to create a nice Fall leaf.

Winter Wood Season Card

Here’s the first Christmas Card of the season! I know it’s a bit early, but you can’t be wrong starting to make your Christmas cards in October! I like to have my Christmas cards done early, so I can focus on everything else closer to Christmas!

I used 2 new beautiful stamp sets: Winter Wood and Dashing Deer. Don’t you loved this new green color for the spruce? It’s called Shaded Spruce!

I used the Dazzling Diamonds glitters on the tree and the snow (I know it’s not as nice on the picture than for real), but trust me, this little bit of sparkling totally makes the difference!
