I’ve been away from my Blog for a while, but this week, there’s a big sale called the ONLINE EXTRAVAGANZA and I couldn’t let it go without telling you!

extravaganza 2015

To see all deals (up to 50% off) click here! The sale is from November 23 to 30th only. While supplies last.

Today’s card is made with the “Embellished Ornaments” stamp set from the Holiday mini-catalogue, found on p.15. This stamp set is also on sale, as one of the weekly deals! To see all Weekly deals for Nov.24 to 30th, click here.

This stamp set has matching Framelits dies called “Delicate Ornament” Thinlits die. They are absolutely beautiful! I used the new Red Foil paper to cut the round Christmas ball. It’s really shiny and details are pretty awesome!!!

Gift Card Holder and Washi Tape

Gift Cards are becoming more and more popular as a gift alternative for people on our list that are “harder” to pick a gift for… Putting the gift card inside a homemade “gift card holder” makes it a bit more personal!

I made this gift card with half a sheet of Cherry Cobbler, cut lenghtwise (4-1/4″ x 11″). The present is made with a little Whisper White card stock square covered with the Season of Style Designer Washi Tape and topped with a Cherry Cobbler Seam binding ribbon bow. On the right hand side, I used the Delicate Design Embossing folder to create the nice border.

On the inside it looks like this:

You can see a similar gift card holder that I made last year here.

Material:

Stamp set: Chalk Talk, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Cs and paper: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Season of Style Designer series paper stack

Ink: Cherry Cobbler

Tools: Big Shot, Delicate Design embossing folder, 1-1/4″ Circle punch, 1-3/4″ Circle punch, Modern Label punch, Simply Scored Scoring board

Accessories:  Season of Style Designer Washi Tape, Cherry Cobbler Seam binding ribbon, Dimensionals, glue dots.

Instructions:

1. Cut half a sheet of Cherry Cobbler card stock lenghtwise (4-1/4″ x 11″). Place your card stock horizontally on the Scoring board and score at 2″ and 5-1/2″. Fold on your scored lines. On the right hand side, emboss with the Delicate Design folder to create the border.

2. Stamp “For you” from Chalk Talk stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper White card stock. Use the 1-1/4″ Circle punch to cut. Glue in place on the card.

3. On the opposite side (the 2″ folded part) cut half a circle with the 1-3/4″ Circle punch. Adhere the top and bottom of the folded part. (This is where you will insert the gift card.)

4. Cut a 4″ x 3-1/4″ rectangle in Season of Style Designer series paper. Adhere on top of your card. Cut a 1-3/4″ Square in Whisper White card stock. Cover with 3 strips of Washi tape. Adhere on your card. Make a bow with the Cherry Cobbler Seam binding and adhere with a glue dot.

5. Stamp “Merry Christmas” (from Teeny Tiny Wishes) on a piece of Whisper White card stock. Cut with the Modern Label punch. Adhere with dimensionals on top of your card, just below the present.

NaBloPoMo Day 25: Wreath Card (with Bird Builder punch)

This is a card that I wanted to make for a long time but never really took the time to make. Finally, I got around to make it!

I used the Bird Builder punch to make the wreath (the little branch on that punch). I used 3 different green card stocks: Gumball Green, Garden Green and Wild Wasabi.  I added little Real Red flowers punched with the Itty Bitty Shape punch pack and added a small circle in Gold Glimmer paper punched with the Owl builder punch. I made a miniature bow with Real Red card stock. To make the door, I cut 4 rectangles in Early Espresso card stock and scored the lines with the Simply Scored Scoring board and I glued them on a piece of Early Espresso card stock. The door handle is an Antique brad.

NaBloPoMo Day 18: Snowflake Soiree Sparkly card

I wish you could see this card in “real life” because it is much nicer than on the picture!  It has a layer of Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the center square and it’s really sparkly and beautiful!  I used the Snowfalke Soiree stamp set for this card, combined with the Winter Frost Designer series paper and the Northern Flurry embossing folder.

The colors are Pool Party, Island Indigo and Coastal Cabana.

Maybe you are wondering how I got the glitters to stay on the card stock so nicely? The trick is to use Multipurpose Adhesive sheet! You simply cut the adhesive sheet the same size of the card stock you want to “glitter”. Stick it on your shape then peel off the backing.  You have instant glue on the whole surface. Just sprinkle Dazzling Diamond glitters on top, shake off the excess and you are done! Instant stunning effect! No drying time!

If you want to order these Multipurpose adhesive sheet, the item number is #120805. You get 12 sheets of 12″ x 12″ for $18.95 plus taxes. Click here to shop now!

NaBloPoMo Day 12: Gift Bow Bigz L Die to dress up your Gift boxes!

I’m very excited about this week’s special deals! The Gift Bow Bigz L die that I used to make the little angel (yesterday’s post) is on sale for one week only!  Save over $10.00 if you order it before November 18, 2013. Click here to order it today! (or email me if you prefer!)

Here’s the deal for this week:

Special week Nov12-18

So, here’s today’s project:

Gift Bow box Gift Bow box2

These bows are so cute and easy to make with the Gift Bow Bigz L die. They make such a cute package! We made these boxes at my last Stamp Club night and everyone really liked them! (Some even said that they didn’t want to give it away!!!)  We added a Frosted Finishes Embellishment in the center of the bow and it really added a nice finishing touch!

The box is a 3-1/2″ square Kraft box (Item #124106) sold in pack of 4 for $3.50. I cut a 2″  x 12″ strip in the Winter Frost Designer Series paper and wrapped it around the box.  I cut a 3″ circle in Island Indigo card stock with the Big Shot and 3″ Circle Bigz die and I embossed it with the Pretty Print embossing folder. I glue the bow on top of the circle with a Stampin’ dimensional. The strip of Designer paper is just a little too short to wrap around the whole box, so you have to add another piece such as the circle to attach both ends together. (I glued the 2 ends of the strip under the Indigo circle.)

I used the gift tag from Christmas Collectibles stamp set and cut it with the Christmas Ornament punch to complete the project.
