This cute little box is the craft I made with a group of children at a Summer Day camp this week. They really enjoyed it! I had the circles (1″ and 1-1/4″) pre-cut for them. They pick the color they wanted and they did an amazing job!
So here’s what he looks like:
Here’s the box open. It’s easier to see that I used the Top Note die for the top and the Fancy Favor box for the body.
Do you remember the Owl box I made for last Halloween? If you do, I’m pretty amazed!!! Here’s the picture of both boxes:
You can find the instructions for the Owl box here: https://madewithpaper.wordpress.com/2012/10/18/owl-fancy-box/
Instructions for the Parrot Box are pretty similar. Start with the box laying flat on the table. Glue all the circles on the front, starting from the bottom and working you way up, overlapping each circle. Then, form the box. Glue the wings on top. To make the head, fold the Top Note in half, and glue at the back only. Decorate the head with eyes and beak.
