Saying Good-Bye to “Bordering on Romance”

“Bordering on Romance “stamp set is on the retiring list… That means if you want to order it, you have until the end of May, that’s it! The 2 following cards were made with that stamp set.

For the first one, I stamped 3 flowers and used the 1” Square punch to capture part of the image. I then superposed on top of the Postage Stamp punch. I stamped a row of flowers on the side and I added a Midnight Muse Stitched Satin ribbon to finish the card.

Material used:

Stamp set: Bordering on Romance

CS and paper: Natural White, Marina Mist, Whisper White

Ink: Midnight Muse

Tools: Big Shot and Perfect Polka Dots folder, 1″ Square punch, Postage Stamp punch

Accessories: Midnight Muse Stitched Satin ribbon

On the second card, I used Bordering on Romance stamps in Basic Black on the background. The flower (from Mixed Bunch stamp set) is stamped in Cherry Cobbler on Real Red card stock and cut using the Blossom punch. I used the button stamp from the Button Buttons stamp set (also retiring at the end of the month) for the center of the flower. The greeting is from Wishes your Way set, found in the Occasions mini-catalogue.
