Today’s project is a gift card holder shaped like a Stocking!
List of Supplies:
- Very Vanilla Card Stock
- Champagne Glimmer paper
- Crumb Cake ink pad
- 6 in of 1/2″ Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon
- Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set
- Crumb Cake Stampin’ Marker
- Multi-purpose liquid glue
- Big Shot
- Holiday Stocking Bigz L die
- Snow Flurry Bigz die
- Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder
- Square Lattice embossing folder
- 1-1/4″ Circle punch
- Antique brad
Cut a rectangle of Very Vanilla card stock 4 ” long by 3.5 ” wide.
Fold in half lenghtwise. Place on the Holiday Stocking die just below the cutting line so the top (where your fold is) won’t be cut. Run through the Big Shot.
Using the Big Shot and the Holiday Stocking die, cut 2 stockings and 1 of each other part (toes and heel).
Using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, run one of the stocking through the Big Shot.
Note: Don’t worry that some part are sticking out of the folder as they will be covered afterward.
Using the Square Lattice embossing folder, run through the Big shot the other parts.
To emboss only half the cuff part, align the fold with the end of the embossing folder.
Sponge each part with Crumb cake ink.
Cut a half circle with the 1-1/4″ Circle punch at the top of the embossed stocking.
Attach the two stocking together by glueing them along the edges, **but not at the top!**
Glue the toe part, heel part and cuff in place.
Using the Snow Flurry Bigz die, run a piece of Champagne Glimmer paper through the Big Shot. Insert an Antique brad in the middle. Add a Very Vanilla Seam binding ribbon at the back of the snowflake and through the brad. Attach the brad to the top of the cuff. Make a little tag with a 1″ by 2-1/4″ in Very Vanilla card stock. Stamp “Merry Christmas” and write “To: and From:” in Crumb Cake ink. Glue in place.
Add a small self-adhesive velcro.
(This will help the cuff to stay closed.)
