Spider Shaker

Here’s another quick project to make with the kids for Halloween.  The body of the spider is made with a “treat cup” filled with sparkles and glitters!  Kids love it because you can shake it around!!!

To make the spider it’s pretty simple.  Cut 2 circles in Basic Black card stock using the 2-1/2″ Circle punch .  Keep the first one as is and on the second one, cut another circle in the middle with the 1-3/4″ Circle punch to form a “ring”.  Fill the treat cup with glitters.  Peel off the paper backing on the treat cup and adhere it on the 2-1/2″ circle.  On the front side, add the “ring” you just did to cover the plastic part. Glue in place with Snail adhesive.   Add a 1″ Circle for the head and 8 legs that you fold in an accordion… Add some googly eyes and a smile.

Material:

CS and paper: Basic Black, Real Red

Tools: 2-1/2 ” circle, 1-3/4 ” Circle, 1″ Circle punches

Others: Treat cup, glitters, googly eyes
