Children Project: Fall Wreath

I recently did a Workshop for Daycare providers where I taught them a few Halloween and Fall crafts that they could do with the children. This project was one of their favorite because it’s easy and still pretty nice!!!  I’ve seen very nice Autumn Wreath created with the new Autumn Accent die and I created this simplified version for children.

If you work in a daycare in the Ottawa region and would like to invite me to give a Craft workshop, please contact me by email at julie_olivier@hotmail.com.

I used a “cheap” paper plate to make the wreath base. I  cut a circle inside to create the “ring”.  Then I cut a bunch of leaves using the Big Shot and the Autumn Accents Bigz die.  I crumpled each leave to add some texture and dimension (children love that step!) and glued them on the paper plate with Multi-purpose liquid glue.  I made a bow with the 3-1/2″ Scalloped Tulle Ribbon and attached it with glue dots.  I added a Baker’s Twine at the top to hang the wreath.

Here’s the back view:

Autumn Accents Bigz die:
