Apothecary Art Birthday

I made the two following cards for people in my family who have their birthday in April.  I used the same stamp set “Apothecary Art”, that coordinates so well with the Labels Collection Framelits.  For both cards, I colored the flowers with the watercolor Wonder crayons and the blender pen. For the first one, I stamped the flowers 2 times and I cut one to put at the bottom… (Can you spot which one I chose?!?)

Stamp set: Apothecary Art (#125525)

CS and paper: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Patterns Designer series paper stack subtles collection

Ink: StazOn black ink, Watercolor Wonder crayons Brights collection

Tool: Big shot and Labels Collection Framelits

Accessories: 1/8″ Taffeta ribbon

For the second card, I used the 1-3/4″ Scallop circle punch to make the roses, and for the smaller one, I used the Scallop Oval.

Tip: to make the rose, cut your scallop circle in a “spiral”. Starting with the outer edge, roll it until you reach the center, than using multipurpose liquid glue, glue it in place. It helps to use a quilling tool to “roll it”.
