Easter Wishes with Vellum

This is a card that we’ll be making tonight at my Monthly Card class.  It’s an Easter card that could be easily transform to make a birthday card by changing the greeting.

I first stamped the lily with StazOn black ink on Vellum card stock. Then, on reverse, I colored the center (stamens) in yellow using Daffodil Delight Stampin’ marker.  Using the stylus, I added some “white” details on the petals.  (That’s one of the great thing about vellum.  When you rub it from behind with the metal ball of the stylus, it becomes white.)  I used the Framelits (Label collection) to cut it.  The vellum is is held in place with the ribbon.  I used the nice Everyday Enchantment designer paper for the background (paper from the Sale-a-bration brochure.   After tomorrow, it will be gone!  So sad to see it retiring!!!) Add your greeting and voilà!
