More Vellum cards

I wanted to post these two cards before Christmas, but you know what the few days before Christmas look like…  No time!!!  Therefore, these will be the last two Christmas cards for a while…  I wanted to show you some other cards with Vellum because, it’s really cool what you can do!

For the first one, I used the Season of Joy stamp set (#110384).  I stamped the Christmas tree in Old Olive on Vellum and trace from behind the details and the snowflakes, as well as the snow on the ground.  When you trace on Vellum, it makes it “opaque” and appears white. I stamped the backgrond randomly in Real red. Add a little Old Olive taffeta ribbon on a strip of Whisper White CS embossed with perfect Polka dots.

stamp set: Season of Joy #110384

ink: Old olive, Real red

CS and paper: Real red, Old Olive, Whisper White, Vellum CS

Accessories: Old Olive ribbon

Tools: Big shot and embossing folder  Perfect Polka Dots

The second card uses the Snow Swirled stamp set (#111690), stamped in white on Vellum cardstock.  Then I traced all the snowflakes from the back and it makes them appear in relief. I stamped the Joyeux Noel on Whisper white and punched it with Decorative Label.  I punched 2 holes and thread the ribbon through them.  I used some stampin’Dimensionals to adhere the label on the top of the card.
