Vellum week: window card

Do you know what vellum is?  It’s a translucent card stock or paper.  There is many things you can do with Vellum and I will show you a couple this week.  Vellum is great to overlay since you can see through it.  Also, when you trace on it with a stylus, it becomes white.

Today’s a simple children project you can do with Vellum: a window card.  Cut out your window on the top part of the card. Stamp some snowflake on the Vellum with bashful blue. Adhere vellum at the back of the window.  In the inside, make a winter scene.  Tear down a piece of white card stock to make the snow on the ground.  The uneven edge makes it even more real!
