I was really excited when I saw that Stampin’up came up with a new Scoring tool in the Holiday mini catalogue. It’s now so easy to score your cards and 3-D projects. The scoring really help you fold the paper where you need it, but there’s even more you can do with it! For example, in this card, I scored a few lines all around to form a frame for the flowers. See on the close-up…
To make the big flower, I punched out 5 circles with the 1″ circle punch and fold two sides of each circle to make like a triangle. You can use the Simply Scored Scoring Tool to help with that too. The small flower is made with six 3/4″ circles. The leaves were fold in half and run through the crimper to give them some texture. You could use the Blossom Petals Builder punch to make your leaves, but since I don’t have it yet, I just draw them by hand and cut them with scissors.
