Children Projects Week: Christmas Wreath

Today’s project: a simple Christmas wreath, cut using the Big Scallop circle die and stamp with “Button, Button” stamp set (#122026).

Material

  • Garden Green cardstock cut with Big Scallop circle die (#113468)  and Big Shot
  • Whisper white cardstock cut with 1 3/4” Scallop circle punch (#119854)
  • red glimmer brads (#121006)
  • red buttons
  • red ribbon
  • Stamp set “Button, button” (#122026)
  • Garden Green (#102272) and Real red (#103133) ink
  • White Baker’s Twine (#124262)
  • small circle punch
  • glue dots (#103683)

Instructions

  • Using the Big Shot and Big Scallop circle die, cut one green scallop
    circle.
  • Stamp all over with different button stamps in Garden green and Real red.
  • Glue the small white scallop circle in the middle and add a little
    message such as “Merry Christmas!”
  • Add the glimmer brads.
  • Using glue dots, adhere some buttons.
  • Make a hole a the top. Insert a little Baker’s twine string to hang.
